He had to learn a lesson from traps
Count Insidious, a wealthy local villain, awakens in a SAW-style trap and must begin playing a game of life and death, guided only by a raspy voice. As he progresses deeper into the game he must make morality choices and face his inner demons. Will he emerge from the game a better person? Or will he die?

Adventure Setup:
- Dungeon Master (DM): Casey
- Player: Michael, playing Count Insidious, an evil and arrogant nobleman known for his cruelty and condescension.
Story Summary:
Setting: A mysterious, trap-filled dungeon
- Count Insidious is trapped in a deadly dungeon with various torturous mechanisms designed by a villain intent on making him face his own evil ways. His hands are free, but he must think fast to escape the tightening belt around his neck.
- Challenge: Count Insidious must survive a series of traps, save a few of his henchmen along the way, and determine if he can change his fate or continue down the path of cruelty.
Key Scenes:
- The Trap Begins:
- 04:00 - Count Insidious finds himself strapped to a chair with a spiked belt tightening around his neck. He attempts to Misty Step out but fails due to magical interference.
- 08:00 - With only seconds left, Count Insidious grabs a knife beside the chair and cuts the belt just in time, narrowly escaping death.
- The Henchman in Chains:
- 10:00 - Count Insidious hears a voice pleading for help from the next room. He finds one of his long-suffering henchmen chained and about to be quartered.
- 16:00 - After some indecision, Count Insidious begrudgingly attempts to save the henchman by jamming a knife into the mechanism. The blade starts to crack, but he uses a spell to repair it, holding the chains at bay.
- Mysterious Messages and the Conch:
- 23:00 - A series of cryptic messages delivered through a conch guide Count Insidious through each trap, asking him to reflect on his cruel past. Despite these warnings, he remains arrogant and dismissive.
- 28:00 - A room of spinning walls and chained beggars tests his morality, but he uses his magic to manipulate the traps rather than directly help the prisoners.
- Jawboy's Betrayal:
- 45:00 - Jawboy, one of Count Insidious's henchmen, reveals that only one person can escape alive. Jawboy tries to fight Count Insidious, but the Count kills him with a Firebolt before Jawboy can set off a bomb.
- The Tribunal of Peasants:
- 50:00 - In a final room, Count Insidious faces a tribunal made up of peasants, servants, and henchmen he has wronged throughout his life. They are given the power to decide his fate.
- 55:00 - Despite pleading for his life and offering bribes to his remaining henchmen, the peasants vote overwhelmingly to condemn him.
Climax:
- 01:00:00 - The walls around Count Insidious begin to crumble as lava starts to rise. Despite casting Flight and attempting to escape, he is severely injured by an explosion set off by Jawboy's bomb. The final moments see Count Insidious, bloody and battered, trying to flee while being surrounded by peasants with vengeance in their eyes.
